Cryptocurrencies rise after report of Trump shooting (Cryptocurrency:TRUMP-USD)

Cryptocurrency prices surged Saturday evening, moments after former President Trump was shot while speaking at a campaign rally in western Pennsylvania.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD) briefly dipped to around $58,448 at 6:15 p.m. ET before rallying 2.4% to $59,909 over the next few days.
