E-mini S&P contract is little changed

The S&P 500 US E-mini contract is trading unchanged at 5652.75. Its high was 5659.25 while its low extended to 5646.50.

Major indices closed higher last week for the second week in a row.

• The Dow rose 1.27% after rising 2.94% the previous week.
• The S&P 500 rose 1.45% after rising 3.93% the previous week,
• The Nasdaq rose 1.4% after rising 5.29% the previous week.

August ends on Friday this week, and the major indicators during the week are heading towards positive results.

• The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.58%.
• The S&P rose 2.03%.
• The Nasdaq rose 1.58%.

The Dow Jones closed at 41,175.09, just below its all-time closing high of 41,198.09.

The S&P 500 closed at 5,669.67, and the index closed at 5,634.60.

The Nasdaq is still well below its all-time closing high of 18,647.45, having closed Friday at 17,877.79.
