The Dow Jones closed at 41,175.09, just below its all-time closing high of 41,198.09.
The S&P 500 closed at 5,669.67, and the index closed at 5,634.60.
The Nasdaq is still well below its all-time closing high of 18,647.45, having closed Friday at 17,877.79.
