
Ewan Venters, former CEO of Fortnum & Mason, joined the Paul Smith Ltd.
His appointment as a non -executive director comes shortly after step down as an executive head of the International Contemporary Art Exhibition, where he also supervised the acquisition of the famous Groucho Club in London.
Sir Paul Smith, founder and head of the name brand named, described Venters as a “pivotal moment”, stressing that the company explores “the main strategies to form a future.” “The undisputed British brand” was enthusiastic about the next stage of growth.
Before Hauser & Wirt, Venters spent eight years in Fortnum & Mason, and headed a period of standard performance. Paul Smith Ltd, founded in 1970, was named in men’s clothes before expanding in other areas of fashion and lifestyle. Although Sir Ball is still closely involved in the brand, the appointment of Venters indicates a renewed focus on strategic innovation and the expansion of British heritage.
