
Karen Epsitz Seagal, CEO of Intel Israel, was appointed as temporary head of the Intel Data and Artificial Intelligence Center (DCAI), the third most important position in the American chips maker. DCAI is one of the most important sections in the company that is assigned to develop a competitive solution for NVIDIA processors and servers.
For the past few years, Eibschitz Segal has managed Intel Development Centers in Haifa, Petah Tikva and Jerusalem, and works from CO-CEO at Intel Israel. It will work in a large position on a temporary basis until a permanent date is set.

The DCAI section was taking one blow one after another. The CEO of the division was appointed to this position about a year ago to replace Sandra Rivera, who became a synonym for division and left a year ago for Intel Intel, which also left in recent days to become the CEO of Nokia. If INTEL succeeds in developing a 1.8 nm -based manufacturing technology, as the company hints, the section led by Eibschitz Segal can finally challenge a NVIDIA, BlackWell and MI300 processors.
The chip called Jaguar Shores will not be launched, except in early next year.
At the end of last year, the CEO of Intel Pat Gelsiner resigned, and the company is now being temporarily commanded by David Zinsner and Co Michelle Johnston Holthaus.
“We have a strong DCAI team that will continue to enhance our service priorities for our customers,” Intel said.
