Mixed results for the European indices on September 11

How has the BOE rates pricing changed after the inflation data today?

European indices close today’s trading with mixed results, on September 11.

As London/European traders look to the exit, the Dow Jones leads the way lower. The Nasdaq is now trading slightly higher in bullish and bearish trading.

  • The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell -450 points (it was down -700 points at its lows) or -1.08% at 40,300.
  • The S&P fell -34 points, or -0.61%.
  • The Nasdaq is now up 17 points or 0.10% at 17,042.

Meanwhile, yields in the US have now turned positive ahead of the 10-year bond auction at 1pm:

  • 2-year yield 3.637%, +2bps.
  • 5-year yield 3.448%, +2.1 bps.
  • 10-year yield 3.659%, +1.5bps.
  • 30-year yield 3.966%, +1.3bps
