Bitcoin ETFs will outperform gold ETFs in total assets

In his first – and perhaps most clear – prediction, Geraci stated that he expects the US-based Bitcoin (BTC) ETF market to surpass physical gold ETFs in terms of total assets, barring a significant decline in the value of Bitcoin.

Currently, Bitcoin ETFs have total assets of $107.64 billion, while gold-based ETFs are around $271 billion.

Geraci also expects the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to grant approval for options trading on Ethereum ETFs.

Additionally, he stated that staking an ETF would likely receive SEC approval in 2025.

When applications are made for Bitcoin ETFs, one of the main issues discussed is the mechanism Specific creation and redemption.

According to Djerassi, investors will finally be able to directly exchange Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) to create or redeem their shares in ETFs in 2025.

Geraci expects the Solana and XRP ETFs as well as the Bitwise and Grayscale index ETFs to be approved in 2025.

Interestingly, he also expects that Vanguard, known as a conservative player, will open up access to broker-dealer clients to Bitcoin and Ether ETFs.
