- US Bancorp (New York Stock Exchange:USB) has appointed Felicia La Forgia to lead a newly formed unit called the Institutional Client Group (“ICG”), which brings together teams that manage client relationships across regions and sectors.
- La Forgia previously led U.S. Bancorp's corporate banking unit.
- Stephen Phillipson, formerly Head of Global Markets and Specialist Finance in the Wealth Management, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (“WCIB”) team, now takes on an expanded role leading the portfolio of all WCIB product businesses providing solutions to corporate wealth and institutional client segments.
- WCIB and ICG will work together to provide core banking, specialty lending, transaction and payments processing, capital markets, asset management, brokerage and investment-related services to wealth, middle market, large corporate, government and institutional clients. Together, they serve more than half a million individual customers and more than 30,000 businesses and institutions, providing banking services to nearly 90% of Fortune 1000 companies, US Bank said.
